柏樺生活英譯欣賞

　　西南交通大學中文系教授，博士生導師柏樺，1979年始從事詩歌、隨筆創作、文學批評及英美文學翻譯活動，陸續在國內外刊物上大量發表作品。下面是是柏樺所作的《生活》的英譯版本，歡迎欣賞!

　　柏樺·《生活》

　　生活，你多么寬廣，像道路

　　帶著政權的氣味趕往遠方

　　遠方，各族人民在歌唱

　　大嘴唇、尖聲音，加上藍天和廣場

　　廣場呀，生長著漫長而頹唐的農業

　　饕餮或饑餓在四季里彷徨

　　一切皆遙遠，一切皆無關

　　熱情的自身，死的.自身，生活的自身

　　像一個小孤兒子獨坐大地

　　像缺乏營養的云，像啊……

　　像生活，干脆就剝竹、毀稻、殺豬

　　像生活，干脆就在睡眠中，睡夢中清帳

　　Bai Hua

　　Life, you’re so broad, like a road

　　carrying the smell of political power rushing on to a place far-off

　　The far-off place, where the people of all nationalities sing

　　about a blue sky and a square on the top of big lips and high-pitched voices

　　The square, where endless and dejected farmers are reared

　　over the four seasons, voracity or starvation loiter

　　Everything is far off, nothing is of any importance

　　life itself, death itself, enthusiasm of itself

　　Like a little orphaned son sitting alone on the earth

　　like an undernourished cloud, like oh…

　　Like life, just stripping bamboo, destroying rice, killing pigs

　　like living, only in your sleep, squaring accounts in your sleep
